The town of Vyškov has a nice historic center with a Renaissance town hall and a château where the renowned Napoleon also stayed overnight. Several hiking trails and cycling paths run through Vyškov; for example, an educational cycling trail called “Trail Through the Heart of South Moravia” was created in 2005. Near the château park there is a Zoo Park with an exhibit of farm animals, and on the edge of the town there is a Dino Park showing life-size prehistoric animals.
