Prague Peak is one of the most prominent destinations in the Brdy Mountains and, at 862 meters, is the second-highest peak of this range. It lies in the Brdy Protected Landscape Area, near the village of Nepomuk by Rožmitál pod Třemšínem, and its dominant feature is a tall tower with a meteorological radar. For tourists, Prague is interesting mainly for its remote Brdy atmosphere, deep forests, and the feeling of being in one of the quieter mountain areas of the Czech Republic.
A trip to Prague can be easily combined with a hike from Nepomuk, from where marked trails lead along forest paths, viewpoints, and other Brdy peaks. A popular route goes via Malý Tok and Čák’s Viewpoint, or alternatively along the yellow trail toward the summit itself. From the surroundings of Prague, there are nice views of the Brdy landscape, the Padrť Ponds, and farther toward the Plzeň region.
