The Horní Domky ski resort is located in Horní Rokytnice nad Jizerou on the southern slopes of Lysá hora at an altitude of 657–1,315 m above sea level. With its size, model slopes, and facilities, it can compare with the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. It is popular mainly for the great variety and spaciousness of its ski runs, which have a total length of 14.7 km and are up to 100 m wide in places. For snowboarding enthusiasts, there is a snowpark equipped with a large jump, various obstacles, and a small button lift. It is especially popular with freestyle riders. For children, there is a kids’ park with a conveyor belt and a ski school. Beginners are catered for with a gentle slope—a practice meadow with two button lifts. Visitors with a competitive spirit can measure their time on a public race course. Visitor comfort is enhanced by a skibus on the route Rokytnice n. J. – Harrachov – Jakuszyce – cross-country area and back, a free Wi‑Fi network, and a mobile phone app. In the summer season, the Horní Domky cable car is in operation and will take you very close to the Krkonoše mountain ridges. The cable car transports bicycles and strollers free of charge. The ski resort also operates a bike park intended for both experienced and less experienced riders. There are two
