Baťa Canal, or the Otrokovice–Rohatec Canal, is a historic waterway built between 1935 and 1938, 52 km long, which connected Otrokovice with Rohatec. It partly follows the Morava River; elsewhere it runs through artificially dug canals with a series of movable weirs, navigation locks, and other water structures. Nowadays, almost the entire 52 km waterway has been renovated, 13 navigation locks have been put into operation, and both regular and tourist water transport is thus possible between Otrokovice and Petrov, or Skalica.
