The cross-country skiing club Ski klub RD Rýmařov was founded in 2005 after splitting from TJ Jiskra. The club ranks among the most successful skiing teams in the Czech Republic, as clearly evidenced by the results of our competitors, who regularly place in the top ten in national and regional competitions. Medals and first performance classes from the Czech Championships or Czech Cups are not uncommon either. The club is responsible for grooming the cross-country trails in the Hedva garden area and the trails in the Střelecké Valley, where it organizes races every year. Among the events held, let us highlight the Czech Youth Championship, held repeatedly, the annual Moravian-Silesian Region championship, and the traditional race “Rýmařov Thirty.”
