Třeboň is a picturesque South Bohemian town renowned for its spa tradition, fish-farming heritage, and excellent conditions for hiking and cycling. The historic center with Renaissance houses and the prominent Třeboň Chateau invites strolls through narrow streets and visits to the chateau park, while the surrounding landscape full of ponds offers ideal terrain for easy trips. A popular destination is, for example, the Svět Pond, around which runs a comfortable trail suitable for both walkers and cyclists. Thanks to the dense network of marked routes in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area, the town is a great starting point for longer trips into nature, and after an active day visitors can relax in the local spa and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the South Bohemian countryside.
