Šerák is a 1,351 m high mountain in the Hrubý Jeseník range, on the historic border of Moravia and Silesia. Together with the neighboring Keprník, it is part of the Šerák–Keprník National Nature Reserve and also the broader protected landscape area of the Jeseníky Mountains. The easiest way to reach the summit is from the Ramzová Saddle by a two-section chairlift operating year-round. Hikers can use marked trails from Ramzová, Červenohorské Saddle, Jeseník, and other places. Cross-country skiers can set out for Šerák from Ostružná via the Jeseníky Ski Trail, which continues from Šerák to Keprník and further along the main ridge to Vřesová studánka.
