Visalaje is a mountain settlement in the Moravian-Silesian Beskids, on the slope of Visalaje Hill (800 m above sea level) at the end of a 12 km long valley between Lysá hora, Travný, and Bílý Kříž. In the surrounding area, we can find a number of other settlements. Along the course of the Kumorovec stream lies the Obidová natural monument. In winter, cross-country ski trails pass through the settlement; there is also a ski resort with a number of ski lifts and slopes.
