Příbram Airport, also known by the code LKPM, is located near Dlouhá Lhota close to Příbram and serves as a public domestic airport. It is not a large commercial airport with scheduled services, but rather a place focused on general aviation, pilot training, aircraft hangarage, and aviation services. Visitors will also find facilities such as a restaurant and accommodation, so the airport does not feel like merely a technical site but also an interesting destination for aviation enthusiasts.
For the public, the airport is especially attractive thanks to sightseeing flights, hot-air balloon flights, and tandem skydives, which make it possible to experience the Příbram region and the Brdy Mountains from above. Thanks to its location in the Podbrdsko area, a visit to the airport can easily be combined with a trip into the surrounding countryside, for example toward the Brdy Mountains, to Příbram, or to other tourist spots in the region.
