The village of Funtana is a popular seaside resort near the town of Poreč. The coastline around Funtana is very indented, and the shores of the Adriatic Sea here wind nicely around the rocky mainland of the Istrian Peninsula. Most of the beaches are rocky or pebbly; in some places, areas for sunbathing and relaxation have been modified with concrete.
