Luční bouda is not only the largest and oldest mountain chalet in the Krkonoše Mountains, but it also has the highest-altitude restaurant, at 1,410 m above sea level. The first mentions of Luční bouda date back to 1623, according to the year carved on a stone in the foundations of the first stone chalet, which were discovered during the rebuilding of the mill wheel facility in 1869. The nearby Sněžka attracted pilgrims and ensured the chalet’s prosperity. Today, Luční bouda offers a wide range of services including a fitness center, sauna, massages, guided ridge hikes in the Krkonoše Mountains, and much more.
