The resort is located in the Těšín Beskids area at an altitude of 968 m above sea level, about 40 km from Ostrava and 10 km from Třinec. From Javorový there are beautiful views of the wide surroundings toward the Polish side of the Beskids, and in nice weather the Tatras and the Jeseníky Mountains can also be seen. For skiers and snowboarders we have 3 ski slopes: 300 m for beginners, 750 m for advanced skiers, and an extremely steep 400 m slope. High-quality conditions are ensured by two Tatrapoma lifts, artificial snowmaking with snow cannons, and daily grooming of the slopes with a snow groomer. For the 2012/2013 season we newly built a SNOWPARK, and we will also personally maintain the cross-country ski tracks in the vicinity of Javorový using a groomer.
