The settlement of Jizerka lies on the Mala Jizera Meadow between the Vlach Ridge and the Central Jizera Ridge of the Jizera Mountains at an altitude of 862 m above sea level, making it the highest-lying settlement in the Jizera Mountains. Near the settlement, along the mountain road to Smědava, is the Rašeliniště Jizerky National Nature Reserve.
