Buchlovice is a market town in the Uherské Hradiště District in the Zlín Region. Buchlovice is known for its large number of cultural monuments. Among the most beautiful are the Buchlovice Chateau with its park and Buchlov Castle towering on a hill above the town. Buchlovice, together with another 14 municipalities, belongs to the Buchlov microregion. The municipality lives a rich cultural life, mainly folkloric.
