The Ski Malenovice “Na Staškově” ski and hiking area is located at the foot of Lysá hora in the village of Malenovice, 25 km from Ostrava via the four-lane R56 expressway to Frýdek–Místek and road 56 to Frýdlant nad Ostravicí through Nová Ves to Malenovice. The area lies at an altitude of approximately 515–715 m above sea level and is equipped with artificial snowmaking, contactless cards, slope grooming, a snowcat, and lighting for evening skiing. A large platter lift (T-bar), a poma lift, and a children’s rope lift are available, ideal for teaching children and beginners in skiing and snowboarding. We cooperate with the Japa-school ski school. The area is easily accessible by car; free parking is provided about 50 m and 100 m from the ticket office. For warming up and refreshments, a renovated tearoom with an outdoor terrace is available, offering a wide selection of drinks and hot meals.
